Perfect as a side dish at a braai. Best made a couple of hours before serving.


  • Butternut grated
  • Peach jelly powder
  • Pineapple cored and cut up


  • Put the butternut in a salad bowl.
  • Add the peach jelly powder and mix through thoroughly.
  • Add the pineapple pieces and mix through.
  • Refrigerate until needed.

Low carb adjustment

Use sugar-free jelly powder and leave the pineapple out of the recipe.
